Game Interface
City Interface
This is every player's base of power. Buildings are upgraded here, Silver is earned here, and Generals are trained here. With a developed city, you'll earn much more silver, train your Generals with more efficiency, and keep your weapons honed. The competitive player will always have a well-maintained City to keep their edge.

1. The City Interface
The level of your City Hall represents your current level in game. As your City Hall increases in level, new regions and game functions will be unlocked. Additionally, your building levels and General levels cannot exceed your City Hall level. You will gain 1 Rally each time your City Hall is upgraded.
Below is a list of buildings and functions unlocked as your City Hall increases in level:
a. Level 10: Granary is unlocked, Grain can be stored.
b. Level 11: Academy is unlocked, various Research becomes available as the academy increases in level.
c. Level 12: Marketplace is unlocked, you can now buy Grain when needed, or sell extra Grain to make money.
d. Level 15: Barracks is now unlocked. Units losses in battle will be deducted from the Reserves. Reserves can be replenished by drafting units or recruiting units for Grain at the Barracks.
e. Level 25: Counting House is unlocked, increases Tax Revenue by a percentage.
f. Level 30: Scouts at the Armory are unlocked, dispatch them to get some sweet Gear!
g. Level 35: Mint is unlocked, increases chance of receiving Gold when collecting Taxes.
h. Level 40: Daily Missions are unlocked, complete these for Battle Points and even Spell Books for more difficult missions.
i. Level 41: Caravan Post is unlocked, send and receive caravans with other players to earn Silver.
j. Level 45: Custom House is unlocked, increase the profits of your Trade Caravans.
k. Level 82: Textile Mill is unlocked, weave and sell textiles for large sums of silver.
l. Level 85: Second Training Ground is unlocked, train your Generals even faster.
Also: After level 35, failed battles will also consume Rallies. You might want to be less risky in choosing your opponents after level 35!
2. Training Ground
a. Training: You'll need to have a high level Training Ground to keep your Generals' levels up.
b. Enlightenment: You can use Battle Points or Gold to boost your generals' stats.
Normal Mode – Costs ( 4 x City Hall Level) Battle Points
Advanced Mode – Costs 2 Gold
Absolute Mode – Costs 20 Gold
Divine Mode – Costs 100 Gold
The highest any of a General's stats can be raised is 20 + General level.
c. The Formation that you set as "Default" will be used automatically in every battle.
d. The experience received from Instant Progress increases as the level of your Training Grounds increases.
3. Academy
a. The level of any particular Research can't exceed the level of your Academy.
b. Level 10 Academy allows you to upgrade your formations to level 2 and use 3 Generals.
c. Level 25 Academy allows you to upgrade your formations to level 5 and use 4 Generals.
d. Level 50 Academy allows you to upgrade your formations to level 10 and use 5 Generals.
4. Armory
a. While your City Hall is below level 10, you can enhance gear at the Armory with 100% success. After level 10, the success rate will begin changing every 30 minutes>
b. Scouts become available at level 30. Scouts can be dispatched to find high level Robes and Horses.
c. After sending an Scout, there will be chance of a higher level Scout appearing for use. The higher level Scout will remain until used, but can only be used once. Higher level scouts bring back higher level and higher quality Gear.
d. Armory level has no influence on the results of dispatching Scouts. Only using higher level scouts can improve the results of dispatching scouts.
e. Once you earn a VIP level and increase the level of your Armory, you can buy Totems at the Emporium. The Emporium is the only place to buy Totems.
5. Marketplace
Requires Level 12 City Hall
a. The exchange limit will increase by 100 each level, and the current exchange limit will reset each time you upgrade the Marketplace. Be sure to use up your current exchange limit before you upgrade the Marketplace!
b. The Black Market has no exchange limit, but Grain bought there comes at twice the current Grain Price.
6. Residence
a. You will get more and more Residences as you upgrade your City Hall, until level 48 when you obtain the max of 10 Residences.
b. Try to keep all of your Residences the same level as your City hall to maximize your Tax Revenue. Also, at higher levels some of your highest level buildings can be destroyed when you are invaded and Residences are the cheapest and quickest to rebuild.
7. Barracks
Requires Level 15 City Hall
a. A higher level Barracks will increase the amount of units gained through drafts. You can only draft 10 times each day, so use it carefully!
b. You can recruit soldiers for Grain, but it will cost more Grain as you increase in level.
8. Caravan Post
Requires Level 41 City Hall
a. Caravans are used for initiating trades with other players. Like the Marketplace, your daily limit of Caravans resets each time you upgrade it, so make sure to use all your Caravans before you upgrade your Caravan Post each time.
b. There is a limit on how many Caravans you can receive each day, and the profit is relatively small for such transactions.
c. You can trade with any players of the same kingdom above level 41.
d. Caravans sent to your Subjects (level 41+ only) will be accepted immediately, you don’t have to wait for them to accept or reject the caravans.
9. Customs House
Increase Trade revenue for your Caravans.
10. Mint
Requires Level 35 City Hall
Level your Mint to increase the chance that you'll receive 10 Gold when collecting taxes.
11. Counting House
Level your Counting House to increase your tax revenue by a percentage each level.
12. Textile Mill
Requires Level 82 City Hall
Allows access to weavers, make textiles to sell for large sums of Silver.
Hint: As you progress through the game, always be sure that you absolutely need to upgrade your City Hall before you do so. Remember, moving to a new region too quickly will make it harder to earn Prestige by defeating other players, will make it harder to hold onto more profitable Farms and Silver Mines, will decrease the Battle Points you earn, and will make you an easier target for bullying. Keep your Residence levels and General levels matched with your City Hall level and upgrade your Marketplace and Caravan Post carefully. The rest of your strategy is up to you, good luck!
Region Interface
Players move between different level regions as they progress through the game, gradually increasing options for interacting between players as they become more skilled. Silver Mines (taking up the first few districts of each Region) are regionally restricted, so you’ll only compete with other players in your Region for these precious resources. At higher levels, you can also subjugate or be subjugated by players in your Region. Additionally, players of other Kingdoms can only attack players in Regions with the same level restrictions as their own, preventing high level players from attacking players in lower level Regions.

a. Players are divided into separate districts within the region based on the order they move into the region. Whenever a district is full, a new one will automatically be created for the next player to move to the region.
b. The first few districts of each region are filled with Silver Mines. The Silver Mines in the 1st district have higher output than mines in the subsequent districts.
c. You will not lose any Silver if you abandon a Silver Mine up to 1 minute before your session is over. (This is useful for reoccupying a mine you currently own before it gets snatched by someone else waiting for your session to end.)
d. When you move to a new Region, any Silver Mine or Farm that you currently occupy will be abandoned.
e. When viewing Regions belonging to enemy Kingdoms, player names will display in colors according to their notoriety. Notoriety is based on the number of successful attacks the player has made on players of your Kingdom compared to the number of times the player has been defeated by players of your Kingdom. The colors, ranked from most to least notorious, are as follows:
Purple->Orange->Yellow->Green->Blue->White
f. If you select your own city in your district, you can activate Immunity to protect yourself from attacks for 8 hours. Immunity will end if you attack any other players. All players will also have 20 minutes of protection after each time they’re attacked.
g. Level 100 Regions will not return the Silver costs of buildings that are destroyed in attacks.
h. High level Regions have additional specialties to distinguish them from one another and accommodate more varieties of play style.
Campaign Interface
Fight an array of historical Generals and their sub-commanders as you progress through various Stages in the Campaign. Each time you defeat the final Boss of a Stage, you will unlock the next Stage to continue your journey. Earn Battle Points and epic Gear as you conquer your way through history.

a. Armies with a dangling white flag have already been defeated, armies flying a red flag remain undefeated.
b. You must defeat all armies on the map to reach 100% completion for any given Stage. Once completed, a button will appear for you to collect your Stage Completion Reward.
c. Yellow colored armies, called Elite Armies, can only be attacked a limited amount of times. You can see how many times remain where it says “battles remaining” on the interface. Elite Armies sometimes have a chance of dropping Gear rewards.
d. The leaders of armies that appear in Red will become available for you to recruit as your own Generals once you defeat them.
e. The larger armies that appear as octagons at the end of each stage (from the Dong Zhuo stage on) are AI Legions. You’ll need to form a team of multiple players to defeat them, as you’ll be facing many armies at once in a huge Legion battle.
World Interface
In the world map, each icon represents a different Region. You can view and invade other regions, invest or trade within your own Kingdom, or move your city to a new Region. You can even rally your Kingdom to fight a Regional Battle and expand your Kingdom.

a. After defeating Dong Zhuo, you’ll unlock the level 30 Regions. Each of these Regions belongs to one of the three Kingdoms; once you move to one, you will permanently swear your allegiance to the Kingdom that the Region belongs to.
b. Every region requires the player to complete a stage to unlock. You are only required to beat the final Boss of each stage to complete it; the Legion battle is just needed for the completion bonus reward, you don’t need to defeat the Legion to get credit for finishing a stage.
c. Regional level requirements are only upper limits; as long as you have defeated the stage required to unlock a Region, you can move there at any time. You must wait 24 hours after each move before you can move again.
d. You can earn Prestige by investing Silver in the region your city is currently located in. You will earn more Prestige per Silver by investing in regions with lower prosperity. You have to wait 3 hours between each investment.
e. Investing in a Region will increase the prosperity for the Region. High prosperity will give higher tax revenue for all cities in the region.
f. More prosperity is lost when players are attacked in higher level regions.
Farm Interface
Each district within a Region has its own Farm interface. The competition here is much less intense than that for Silver Mines, which are shared by the entire Region. There are farms of varying output, each of which can be occupied for 4 hours. Grain is critical for recruiting reserve units and keeping your army full. Seize the highest output Farms in the middle any time you see them available!

a. The number displayed to the right of the farm output is the output boost received from the Legion Horticulture Research.
b. Abandoning a farm before the session has ended will reduce the amount of Grain harvested.
c. Farms will be automatically abandoned when you move your city to a new region.
